Project Description

The Portland Art Museum is a world class institution and vital to bringing art and culture to the City of Portland.  The 141,000 SF addition to the North Wing creates the largest gallery space for modern and contemporary art in the Pacific Northwest.

MMDC was brought in midway to complete this extremely complex redevelopment that included the demolition and reconstruction of entire floors—and the preservation of historical components of the former Masonic Temple.  Through an aggressive project management plan, MMDC corrected several problem areas and guided the museum to an on-time opening.
